The Obama Foundation
The Obama Foundation is the next chapter in the Obamas’ long history of community organizing, with a mission of empowering a new generation to affect positive change in their communities. I designed an updated site that launched in tandem the inauguration of Obama’s successor, serving as a bright spot of hope on a dark day. After much design exploration, the ultimate look and feel of the site was intentionally stark and minimal—designed to let Pete Souza's eight years of stunning photography take center stage.
