Doll Series No. 1

This untitled series of doll photos was my first experiment in combining my dual loves of tabletop still-life photography and creepy dolls. Rather than any clear narrative statement, it’s a simple formal study in the surreal and mildly unsettling. And, really, who doesn’t love an excuse to use highly saturated, candy colored backdrops?
